Lisbon pulls in people from all over the world, which is great, until you realise everyone is busy and making real friends takes more than sunshine.
A lot of guys here work remotely, which means a laptop, a quiet flat and not much reason to talk to anyone all day. Others moved for a job or a partner and are starting from zero.
Lisbon Men's Connect is a small, growing group of guys who meet up for a drink and a chat. We've had our first meetups and the group keeps getting bigger. Whether you've been here for years or you landed last week, you're welcome.

A big table at a bar or beer garden, a drink (or don't, that's completely fine too) and a chat. No speeches, no agenda.

I work remotely and I'm only in Lisbon for a few months. Is it still worth joining?
Yes. A lot of guys in Lisbon are in the same situation. Join, come to a meetup, and you'll have people to grab a coffee or a beer with for as long as you're here.
Do I need to speak Portuguese?
No. The group and the meetups run in English. Portuguese guys are just as welcome, so it's a good place to pick up a few words too.
How big are the Lisbon meetups?
Smaller than in Prague, as the group is still growing. Most guys like that: you get to have a proper conversation with everyone at the table.
Does it cost anything?
No. There's no membership and no fees. Joining the group is free and at a meetup you just pay for whatever you order.
